About the Artist

I am a self-taught oil painter based in Raleigh, North Carolina, originally from the PNW. Currently I like creating bold, expressive still lifes working loosely with texture and color. I want to challenge the idea that an artist must stay confined to a single style, so don't be surprised when each collection looks a little different!

Being an artist was never my original plan or dream (said no artist ever, I know). I have multiple chronic illnesses that have progressively hindered my ability to work in a traditional sense. I never thought in a million years I would showcase this gift I had kept hidden to this many people and try to make it a career. What started as a practical solution became a defining creative outlet and, ultimately, a passion. 

I feel honored that I get to share a little part of my story with the world with every piece of art I make. I hope these pieces bring you as much joy as they did to me when I made them.
